Good questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Parking, power, prices, nervous dogs and the rest — the things people ask before their first mobile groom.

What does "cage-free" mean?

Your dog is never caged — not before, during or after the groom. It's one on one from start to finish: your dog comes into the van, gets the groomer's full attention, and goes straight back home to you.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to hand your dog over at the van and be around to take them back. Most people carry on with their day inside and we knock when we're done.

Do you need my power or water?

We'll tell you when you book. Many grooming vans carry their own water and generator; if ours needs an outdoor outlet or spigot, we'll say so ahead of time.

Where do you park?

In your driveway if there's room, otherwise on the street right out front. The van is about the length of a large pickup plus a bit, so we need a level spot and a little clearance for the side door.

How long does it take?

It depends on the dog and the groom. A bath and brush is shorter than a full haircut, and a big double-coated shedder takes longer than a toy poodle. We'll give you a time window when you book.

How much does it cost?

Every price is a quote, because it depends on size, coat and condition. Tell us about your dog when you call or send a request and we'll give you a price before the day — no surprises at the door.

Is mobile grooming good for nervous or senior dogs?

It's the reason a lot of people choose it. Our groomer is experienced with anxious and senior dogs, works one on one at your dog's pace, and home is a few steps away the whole time. Tell us about anything tender — hips, lumps, ears — when you book.

Do you groom cats?

The van says Dog Grooming to your door. If you have a cat, ask us — we'll tell you straight.

Does my dog need vaccinations?

Please have your dog's rabies vaccination current — we ask about it on the booking form. Tell us about anything else we should know, like allergies, skin trouble or recent surgery.

Which towns do you come to?

Springboro, Franklin, Miamisburg, Centerville, Germantown, Waynesville, Lebanon, Middletown, Monroe and West Chester. Just outside one of them? Call and ask.

How do I pay?

Ask us when you book which ways you can pay — we'll confirm before the day.
