The salon comes to your driveway

How Mobile Grooming Works

Everything a grooming salon has — tub, table, dryer, a groomer who loves dogs — parked a few steps from your front door.

Your dog never leaves the street

Mobile grooming means your dog stays in the neighborhood. The van parks out front, your dog takes a few steps from the door, and gets a one-on-one spa treatment — cage free, stress free and never rushed. Happy-go-lucky labs love it, and shy rescues and fourteen-year-olds with stiff hips get all the time they need.

With Primp Ur Pet the van pulls up at your house. Your dog goes in through the side door, gets bathed and groomed, and comes back to you. That's it.

Cage free. Stress free. Right outside.

On the day

What to expect

  1. Before we come

We confirm the day and a time window by call or text, with your price. If your dog has anything tender — hips, ears, a lump — this is the time to tell us.

  2. The van arrives

We park in your driveway or right out front and knock. A quick hello, a look at the coat, and we agree what you'd like done.

  3. The groom

Into the van's tub for a proper wash, a blow-dry and brush-out, then the table for the trim. Your dog is the only one we're thinking about.

  4. Home again

We walk your dog back to your door, clean and fluffed, usually in a fresh bandana — and tell you anything we noticed.

Inside the van

A real salon, on wheels

A stainless-steel tub with a tether and sprayer, a padded non-slip grooming table, clippers and scissors on the wall. All from their own photos.

What we need from you

Four small things

  • A place to park

A level driveway, or the street right in front. The van is a full-size Ford E-450, so a little room at the side door helps.

  • Power & water

We'll tell you when you book whether we need an outdoor outlet or spigot.

  • Someone home

To hand your dog over and take them back. The rest of the time is yours.

  • A quick potty break

A short walk before we arrive makes the groom easier for everyone.

Nervous, senior or first-time dogs

This is where mobile grooming shines. An experienced groomer, one dog at a time, no cages and no rush — and your dog is a few steps from home the whole time. Anxious and senior dogs are always welcome.

Tell us on the booking form if your dog is shy, old, sore or has never been groomed. We'll plan for it — breaks when they're needed, a slower pace, and an honest word if a full cut isn't kind on the day.

How long does it take?

It depends on the dog. A bath and brush on a short coat is quicker than a full haircut on a curly doodle, and a heavy double coat takes longest of all. We'll give you a time window when we confirm.

Your driveway. Our van. One happy dog.

Tell us about your dog and the days that suit you. We'll call or text back with a time and a price.
